The Leica Dozer 2000 provides a complete solution for creating and verifying the DTM. The system logs data in the field and updates the existing DTM dynamically as you move around the site.

1. Mining Applications

Reduces the requirement for survey staking and support.  Dozers can move dirt, clear land, build dams and ponds without grade staking.

2. Construction
Use Dozer 2000 for the major earthworks on the project; moving all the earth until the final graded surface, where centimeter accuracy is required.
Road design files can be entered into Dozer 2000 to provide Station and Offset information.

3. Inspection
Leica Dozer 2000 is an ideal tool for site inspection.  The equipment can be easily installed in the site inspection and the desired DTM loaded.
Site inspector can check the grades in real time.
Data can be logged and a "comparison" file generated to show variation between design surface and actual surface.

How Leica Dozer 2000 Works
A GPS base station is established at each site. The base station collects code and phase GPS data that is broadcast via a radio link throughout the work area. The rover unit receives the corrections from the GPS base station. Within 1 minute, centimeter accuracy is achieved and reported at 10 measurements per second to the user with 0.05 seconds latency.
Leica Dozer 2000 software then displays the machine position relative to the desired surface and guides the user in real-time along a DTM, slope, road alignment, or to a specific point.
